Season of goodwill, carols round the Christmas tree and interminable old felms on TV (industrial disputes permitting). Also: the hangover on Boxing Day, and constipation the rest of the week. The sticky fengermarks all over the furniture, and oh dear, Johnny's been kick again. The broken toys on the stairs, yesterday's presents abandoned already, and that's not the one I wanted (still, IWll change it when the shops open). Of c#urse, what else. But itWll soon "e over.
