 The French government is con3idjring a 
 request for political asylum from a    
 group of  
 commandeered military aircraft.        
                                        
 The plane landed in Nice eavly this    
 morning from southern Italy, where     
 those on board had been refused asylum.
                                        
 (here are five ou six military         
 personnel and two civilians, believed  
 to be hostages. They have said they    
 will not leave France.                 
                                        
 They have now lift the plane and are   
 being kept elsewhere in the airport.
