 MALAWI — CROCODILES KILL TWO EACH DAY  
 Crocodiles are killing at least two    
 people a day in the south of Malawi,   
 according to a survey.                 
                                        
 Professional hunter Khalid Hasten      
 attributes the killings to a boom in   
 the crocodile population brought about 
 by controls on culling.                
                                        
 The Convention on International Trade  
 in Endangered Species restricts Malawi 
 to culling some 200 crocodiles annually
                                        
 The country used to cull around 800 of 
 the reptiles each year.
