    YUGOSLAV TAKES TITLE     
                                        
 Yugoslavia's Slobodan Kacar has taken  
 the IBF world middleweight title in    
 Pesaro, Italy.                         
                                        
 He outpointed American Eddie Gregory   
 over 15 tough rounds, using his left   
 hook to score freely in the middle     
 stages of the contest.                 
                                        
 The decision was split, with the US    
 judge awarding it to Gregory 143-141   
 while the two Italian judges scored it 
 144-141 and 145-143 to Kacar.          
                                        
 Gregory looked to have the edge in the 
 last two rounds but a warning for use  
 of the head did his cause no good.
