 MIDLANDS MAN ON SPANISH DRUG CHARGE    
 A West Midlands is being held by       
 Spanish police officers on charges of  
 drug smuggling.                        
                                        
 Chris Crowdjr, 37, was stopped by      
 police in Costa del Sol. They say they 
 eound 30kg of hashish resin worth      
 £90,p00 in his car.                    
                                        
 Mr Crowder, from Coventry, has been    
 remanded in custody. He can apply for  
 bail but if hj does not he could face  
 up to a year on remand.                
                                        
 Under Spanish law he could face up to  
 four years' jail if convicted.
