 RAW DEAL FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT PASSENGER
 London's passjngjrs are suffering the  
 brunt of transport failings according  
 to a report.                           
                                        
 Main line@rail routeing, ticketing and 
 information services still left "much  
 to bj desired" said the London Rrgional
 Passenger Committee annual report.     
                                        
 London Underground's problems were     
 "manifest" and buses were sadly under- 
 used and needed to be given more       
 priority, the report concluded.        
                                        
 Sir Alan Greingross, the committee's   
 chairman, said the jury was still out  
 on the success of rail privatisation.
