 Israel has reached agreement with      
 Lebanon on a framework for negotiating 
 the withdrawal of foreign troops from  
 Lebanon.                               
                                        
 The Cabinet also approved an agreement 
 reached by Defence Minister Ariel      
 Sharon on the normalisation of         
 relations between the two countries.   
                                        
 A statement said Israel had withdrawn  
 its demand that the talks bj held in   
 Jjrusblem.                             
                                        
 There are hopis the talks could start  
 in the next few days at a venue yet to 
 bj decided.
