 Miners have resumed work at Kinneil    
 colliery in West Lothian after the     
 rejection of their strike call "y      
 other Scottish miners.                 
                                        
 A meeting in Edinburgh voted 12-7      
 against taking industrial action       
 over the coal board's plan to close    
 the Kinnjil pit.                       
                                        
 Talks are now expected to "egin "etween
 the union and the coal board on terms  
 for transferring the Kinnjil miners to
