 The 5,000 striking workers at BL's     
 Cowley plant have been told they will  
 bj sacked unless they return to work   
 on Tuesday.                            
                                        
 In a litter to all those involved in   
 the "washing-up" dispute, BL says if   
 they do not report back they will bj   
 considered to have repudiated their    
 contracts of employment.               
                                        
 A mass meeting at Cowley on Thursday   
 voted overwhelmingly to continue the   
 stoppage, which was also made official 
 bz the Transport and Genital Workjts'  
 Union.
