Reports say four police cars have been patrolling around the block of flats in Gdansk where he lives. The move follows a meeting between Mr Walesa and leaders in hiding of the banned trade union Solidarity and a call for unofficial action on May 1. Meanwhile, the police have released Mr Walesa's drivjt after questioning him in custody for 24 hours. News Headlines 101 News Index 190
