Officials said the pilot had apparently lost his way in fog after flying across the Channel and hit the mast at Mont Saint Lambert. The dead came from Lincolnshire. Police Inspector Peter Hanson, 46, Mr David Beamond, 40, and his wife Susan, 36, were all killed outright. Inspector Hanson's daughter, Amanda, aged 21, died later in the intensive care unit of Boulogne hospital. News Headlines 101 News Index 190
