 Up to 70,000 mining jobs may be lost if
 the Government goes ahead with plans to
 build pressurised water reactors in    
 Britain, it was claim d soda .         
                                        
 At a conference in South Wales on      
 nuclear power stations, Mr Colin Sweet,
 of the South Bank Polytechnic, said    
 3,500 mining jobs would bj lost for    
 ev ry powe  station built.             
                                        
 The Central Electricity Generating     
 Board has already listed potential     
 PWR sites in Wal s at Po t Sk witt,    
 Abe thaw, Pembrok , Cardigan Ba  and
