 Angela Rippon has been dropped from her
 role as presenter at TV-am for the next
 few weeks.                             
                                        
 When she flew in from Sydney to London 
 with hit husband, Christopher Dare,    
 she declined to comment on the news.   
                                        
 A firm decision about her future with  
 the station is expected to be taken by 
 new editor-in-chief Mr Greg Dyke when  
 he takes ovjt in May.                  
                                        
 Miss Rippon was in Australia presenting
 awards for a tv channel and will be    
 spending the day at work on a show     
 being broadcast in Australia.
