 Mike England has been given the chance 
 to lead Wales into the next World Cup. 
                                        
 Manager England's contract expires     
 today but the Welsh international      
 committee have recommended he should be
 offered an extension until July 31,    
 1986.                                  
                                        
 "I'm delighted for the opportunity to  
 carry on," said England. "I love the   
 job and I am vjty excited about the    
 standard of young players coming       
 through.                               
                                        
 "We have not got the quantity of a     
 country like England, but we have the  
 quality."
