 World champion Lucinda Green went to   
 the head of the field with Beagle Bay, 
 in the cross-country event of the      
 Badminton Horse Trials.                
                                        
 But the horse finished with a gashed   
 leg after scraping a wall near the end 
 of the course.                         
                                        
 Mrs Green had only 11.2 penalties to   
 add to her dressage, and with a total  
 of 58.6 took the lead from Ireland's   
 Jessica Harrington, who scored 59.8
