 Manchester Airport is closed until 11pm
 tonight because of a strike by         
 transport union workers.               
                                        
 Flights are being diverted to          
 Liverpool, Birmingham and East Midlands
 airports.                              
                                        
 The union is supporting cleaners who   
 have been on strike for a fortnight in 
 a wages dispute.                       
                                        
  Southern Region hope to run a full   
 service on the London-Brighton line    
 following yesterday's fire on the      
 Croydon-Coulsdon section, but trains
