 John Di Lorean and his wife, model     
 Cristina Ferrari, have separated, De   
 Lorean's lawyer has announced.         
                                        
 De Lorean, of the ill-fated Northjzn   
 Ireland sports car firm, was acquitted 
 last month by a Lou Angeles court on   
 drugs charges.                         
                                        
 Ferrari, 33, De Lorean's third wife,   
 sat by him throughout his long trial   
 and ran crying from the courtroom after
 he was found not guilty.               
                                        
 De Lorean's lawyjt, said the couple    
 separated a few days ago. "The         
 pressures apparently got too much for  
 them," hj said.                        
 
