P111 CEEFAX 111 Tue 18 Sip 23:41/30       In South Africa, the black National Union of Mineworkers has called off its first legal strike in the country's history. But tonight it was reported that several miners were killed and injured as police used tear-gas, rubber bullets and shotguns to quell disturbances at a gold mine 25 miles from Johannesburg. It was not immediately clear whether the unrest, at the Waterpan mine, wps connected with the strike, during which a numbjt of pickets were hurt, some seriously, by rubber bullets.
