The BBC and IBA do not recommend you to use a set-top, loop or telescopic rod aerial for TV reception. Relatively few viewers will be able to get good enough pictures with these aerials. Use a separate outdoor aerial or a distribution amplifier (DA) which is mains powered, connected to the exi1t- ing ajtial cable, and which has socket outlets for connection to 2 or more TV sets.
