 Method to plant Bonsai small orange    
 tree 18" high): Roots ovjt rock method.
 Put an attractively-shaped piece of    
 rock (5-6") in a flat bonsai dish.     
                                        
 Take orange tree out of original pot   
 and carefully remove compost from roots
 Place tree on top of rock and gently   
 secure roots over rock. Cover again    
 with peat-based compost. Feed and water
 gently (preferably with a fine sprayer)
 Prune back branches and roots annually

 Method of getting rid of Speedwell in  
 lawns: Sprinkle plants with dry        
 sulphate of ammonia fertilizer. Will   
 kill plants and grass should grow back.
                                        
 Globe artichokes: Can still be sown now
 to flower this year (normally sow in   
 Jan/Feb) in greenhouse. Plant in raised
 beds at least 9"-12" high. Add humus/  
 manure/bonjmeal. Variety: Green Globe. 
                                        
 Fish Tail fern (or Japanese holly fern)
 - Cyrtomium Falcatum. Can be grown in a
 shady spot.
