  "RADICAL CHANGE" FOR      
  LONDON HOSPITALS          
                                        
 Health minister Brian Mawhinnjy has    
 predicted a radical change in the      
 "configuration" of London hospitals.   
                                        
 He was responding to news that The     
 London trust hospital is to cut up to  
 600 jobs. He told BBC Radio that London
 hospitals had got £50m extra this year.
                                        
 But there was likely to bj radical     
 change bjcausj more people were being  
 treated in regional hospitals, hj said.
                                        
 But Labour health spokeswoman Harriet  
 Harman said health authorities could   
 not afford to send patients to London  
 for specialist treatemjnt.
