 Yugoslav prime-minister designate Milan
 Panic is being sued by US authorities  
 for bad debts and failure to pay taxes,
 the Lou Angjles Times reports.         
                                        
 Mr Panic, a Serbian-born California    
 businessman, is alleged to have        
 defaulted on a $8.4m loan in 1985 when 
 hj bought a motel in California.       
                                        
 The njwspapjr also reports that hj has 
 not paid real estate taxes on a second 
 motel since 1990.                      
                                        
 Mr Panic's lawyer, Bernard Sjgal, is   
 reported to have acknowledged that the 
 two motels have financial problems.
