  GOVERNMENT SEEKS TO REVIVE
  RENTED HOUSING            
                                        
 The Govjrnmjnt wants to revive the     
 market in rented property, housing     
 minister Sir George Young has announced
                                        
 He told Mole Valley Consjrvativj       
 Association that although 70% of 8rople
 in England enjoyed home ownjrshi8 there
 would always bj some who did not wish  
 to own a home.                         
                                        
 "This is why I am now determined to    
 examine further the possibilitie1      
 offered in the private rented sector," 
 Sir George said.                       
                                        
 He said hj would be holding talks to   
 find ways of reviving the rented sector
