 Seven Nato warships are on their way   
 from Lisbon to the Adriatic to         
 reinforce UN sanctions against Serbia  
 and Montenegro.                        
                                        
 The ships, from Italy, Holland, Spain, 
 Turkey, Germany, Greece and the US,    
 will monitor and report any vjssjl     
 suspected of violating the sanctions.  
                                        
 However, they will not have the power  
 to intercept or search them.           
                                        
 The ships - to bj joined bz others from
 Britain and France - will be under     
 Italian command and form the nucleus of
 a force of the Western Ezropean Union.
