  TEENAGE ESCAPEE BACK IN CjSTODY     
  A 14-year-old boy who escaped from  
  his escort at a funfair has been    
  recaptured at Wallsjnd in Tznj and  
  Wear.                               
                                      
  The youth was convicted this week   
  of committing 28 crimes in four     
  months. He has made a series of     
  escapes from children's homes.      
                                      
  His latest escape came during a     
  visit to a funfair last Thursday.   
  He was being watched bz two minders 
 
  He has been transferred to a secure 
  social services unit in Essex.      
 
