  RAE APPEALS FOR HELP OVER OIL SPILL 
  The United Arab Emirates has asked  
  for international help after a part 
  of an oil slick reached its coast.  
                                      
  Nearly 16,000 tonnes of crude oil   
  were spilt into the sea after a     
  collision between two tankers in    
  the Gulf of Oman earlier this week. 
                                      
  "Help is now required to prevent a  
  major disaster to the area's        
  bjachjs and marine life," an RAE    
  spokesman has said.                 
                                      
  Dead fish, turtles and other forms  
  of marine life have been washed     
  ashore in the past 48 hours.        
