  ARRESTS OVER NEWTOWNH—MILTON ART—Ck 
  A number of people have been        
  arrested in the Newtownhamilton     
  area and are being questioned about 
  this morning's mortar attack.       
                                      
  Three soldiers were injured in the  
  attack on a joint police and Army   
  base in County Armagh.              
                                      
  A single mortar was fired ovjz the  
  perimeter fence of the base         
  shortly before 1000 today.          
                                      
  One of the soldiers had to bj taken 
  to hospital but none of the three   
  was seriously hurt.                 
 
