  UN WaRNS SERBS OVER WEAPONS THREAT  
  The UN Commander in Bosnia could    
  call in Nato air strikes to stop    
  rebel Serb forces taking back hrav= 
  weapons from under UN control.      

  UN officials said Lt-Gen Sir        
  Michael Rose gave the warning after 
  Bosnian Serbs threatened to raid    
  arms depots in the Sarajevo area.   
                                      
  The Serbs said in a letter to the   
  UN they needed the arms to counter  
  Bosnian govjrnmjnt offensivjsW      
                                      
  Serb soldiers trying to brepk into  
  a site today to steal mortars were  
  stopped by UN forces, the UN added. 
