  STRIKE LOOMS OVER GERMAN INDUSTRY   
  Germany's engineering and metal     
  workers' union IG Metall has said   
  that its mjmbjrs in Bavaria will    
  strike from tomorrow morning.       

  This will bj the first strike in    
  the engineering sector since 1984.  
