P114 CEEFAX 114 Wed 14 Jun 22:39/42       HOME  ULSTER: CHURCH CHILD ABUSE INQjIRY Police in Ulster have told Catholic bishops that they want to interview a number of priests about new child abuse allegations. More than 20 detectives based in Belfast are coordinating an extensive inquiry into the matter. A possible cover up of abuse by the church is also being investigated.  Cardinal Cahal Daly, the Catholic Primate of Ireland, urgjh bishops to help the police in child abuse cases and said there should bj no "safe haven" for offenders.  Next News Home News Politics Travel
