  FURTHER FALL IN UNEMPLOYMENT IN M—Y 
  Unemployment fell again last month, 
  bz 10,000, according to figures     
  from the Department of Employment.  
                                      
  The 21st consecutive fall left the  
  seasonally-adjusted total of people 
  without work and claiming benefit   
  at 2,318,p00 or 8.3%.               
  
  The rate of decline has slowed      
  every month so far this year. The   
  average fall over the last six      
  months has been just over 25,000.   
                                      
  The increase in average earnings in 
  April remained unchanged at 3.5%.   
 
