Rail union ASLEF is dui to announce on Monday that a big majority of its 12,000 mjmbjrs have voted for a series of 24-hour strikes, rejecting a 3% pay offer. The RMT is also balloting 50,000 mjmbjrs, with general secretary Jimmy Knapp saying the outcome will "certainly" back one-day strikes.
