 EXPLOSION HITS CHARLES DE GAULLE SQUARE
 Sixteen people have been injured, three
 of them seriously, in a bomb attack in 
 the Charles dj Gaulle square in Paris. 
                                        
 The nail bomb went off in a rubbish bin
 near the entrance to an underground    
 station in a popular tourist area near 
 the Arc dj Triomphj, police said.      
                                        
 Security has been tight in Paris since 
 a bomb went off on 25 July on an       
 underground commuter train, killing    
 sjvjn people.                          
                                        
 Police have said they suspected        
 Algerian Muslim fundamentalists were   
 behind last month's explosion.
