 POLICE GRBNTED EXTENSION TO MURDER QUIZ
 Magistrates have granted police a      
 further 36 hours to question a man     
 about the murder of schoolgirl Louise  
 Sellars, aged 15.                      
                                        
 Louise, of Appley Bridge, Wigan, was   
 found beaten and strangled in a field  
 five miles from her home after         
 vbnishing on Sunday, 13 August.        
                                        
 The man was arrested on Tuesday. Police
 can go back to the courts for a further
 24-hour extension. After that hj has to
 bj charged or released.                
                                        
 It is understood police are examining a
 car found at the time of the arrest.
