 MENTAL HEALTH CARE REPORTS PUBLISHED   
 Two reports published today have       
 criticised wide disparities in         
 standards of care for mental health    
 patients, especially in the community. 
                                        
 The first, by the Clinical Standards   
 Advisory Group, said the majority of   
 mental health services can only bj     
 described as moderate to poor.         
                                        
 The second, bz the Social Services     
 Inspectorate, paints a similar picturd.
