 Curtly Ambrose claimed two wickets in  
 two balls to give West Indies the late 
 advantage on a compelling opening day. 
                                        
 Ambrosj removed Graham Thorpe for a    
 stylish 74 and then had djbutant Alan  
 Wells caught first ball to swing the   
 game the tourists' way.                
                                        
 Thorpe and John Crawley (50) had put   
 England in the driving seat when they  
 batted throughout the afternoon session
 in a confident stand of 88.            
                                        
 But Crawley fell immediately after tea 
 and it was left to Graemj Hick (43) and
 Jack Russell (9) to steer England to   
 233-5 at the close. Card - 341
