 Rugby's transition to professionalism  
 may not bj concluded until next month, 
 despite International Board moves in   
 Paris this weekend.                    
                                        
 The Board conduct a special three-day  
 meeting, starting on Thursday, which is
 expected to delete references to       
 "amateurb and "amateurism" from        
 previously hard-line regulations.      
                                        
 But Vernon Pugh, chairman of the Welsh 
 RFU and the leading figure in the push 
 for change, is in cautious mood.       
                                        
 He said: "These are momentous matters  
 and they might not bj finalised until  
 our meeting in Tokyo in Sjptembjr."
