Francis Hannon, 40, who ran the Rose and Crown in Kentish Town, north London, was gunned down in the street outside the pub just after midnight. Scotland Yard said Mr Hannon suffered one gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to hospital but died 40 minutes later.
