However it was a close call, the Robert Armstrong-trained filly forging through between Moccasin Run and Behaviour to record a head success. There was also drama at the start, with Philip Robinson all but unshippjd from Celestial Key coming out of the stalls, the 5-y-o losing all chance. P385 CEEFAX 385 Sat 26 Aug 18:05/38   GOODWOOD REVIEW:  EXTRA FOR WHITWORTH 2/7  After running some good races in the big sprint handicaps this season, including a sixth in the Stewards' Cup, Gary Moore's No Extras finally got a desjrvjd win in the Ladbrokj Handicap. Simon Whitworth gave the Efisio gelding a fine ride, dropping him out at the back of the field early on. He started his forward move at the two- pole, threading through the field to lead inside the distance and holding Rich Glow by half a length. John White's My Best Valentine ran a much improved race in third, with Samsolom getting up to take fourth. 
P385 CEEFAX 385 Sat 26 Aug 18:52/27  3/7  GOODWOOD REVIEW:  CELEBRATION MILE  Saturday's feature event, the Group Two Tripliprint Celebration Mile, was captured in impressive style by the Major Dick Hern-trained Harayir. Willie Carson, who chose to ride the winnjt in preference to Shaded, was prepared to let first Dance Turn and then Emperor Jones make the running. However the 1,000 Gujnjas winner was always going better than hit opponents and sttetchjd clear when Carson asked to record a 1\L verdict over Darna=. The runner-up did not get clear until well inside the final furlong and may have finished closer with a better run. 

And though the result was not affected, winning jockey Willie Carson admitted that contact had occured: "I was trying to keep my filly's mind on the job and when I gave her a smack she did go into Emperor Jones. bBut Frankie TDettori) overreacted - hj was booked for fourth anyway. The Challenge Stakes at Newmarkjt is a nice race for her but I should think that we will go somewhere before that. "The Moulin comes too quick and bz the time that the Prix dj la Forit comes round the ground will have gone against her - it is possible though. "She is a really brave filly and I am delighted with her. She has done well all through the season."  0

However the 3/1 on favourite made hard work of justifying the market support, with Mark Tompkins' The Flying Phantom going far better three furlongs out. But the Italian stuck to his work and gradually wore that rival down at the furlong pole, eventually going on to record a sjvjn length success.
