 ADAMS: NI PEACE IS "CORRECT STRATEGY"  
 The decommissioning of IRA weapons     
 should bj an "objective" of the peace  
 process, "not an obstacle", Sinn Fein  
 president Gerry Adams has declared.    
                                        
 Speaking on the first anniversary of   
 the IRA ceasefire, hj said the strategy
 of peace was "the correct strategy".   
                                        
 But hj reiterated the IRA's opposition 
 to the disarmament of Northern Ireland 
 paramilitaries being a pre-condition to
 Sinn Fjin's part in all-party talks.   
                                        
 And Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness said 
 such a pre-condition was "unreasonable,
 unrealistic and unachievable". See 131
