 RBNDOM DRUG TESTING FOR SCOTTISH JAILS 
 Random compulsory drug testing is to bj
 introduced in Scottish prisons, the    
 Govjrnmjnt has announced.              
                                        
 The news follows publication of a      
 report which highlighted drug misuse as
 a key problem in Scottish prisons.     
                                        
 Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of       
 Prisons for Scotland, Clive            
 Fairweathjr, revealed that up to 15% of
 the prison population was injecting at 
 Glenochil, near Stirling in Alloa.     
                                        
 "It would bj dangerous to leave the    
 problem much longer," hj said. Boredom 
 and overcrowding were other problems.
