 return to the women's game bz cruising 
 into the third round in New York.      
                                        
 Seles sbw off fellow American Erika De 
 Lone 6-2 6-1 in just 58 minutes to     
 remain unbeaten since coming back after
 her 27-month absence.                  
                                        
 Seles also has a 16-match unbeaten run

 Zina Garrison-Jackson used her speed   
 and experience to upset tenth seed     
 Lindsay Davenport and move into the    
 third round.                           
                                        
 Garrison, playing in her 16th Open,    
 njvjr allowed Davenport to get into her
 stride and comfortably claimed a 6-1   
 6-3 victory.                           
                                        
 "I knew my game would give Lindsay     
 trouble," she said. "I don't hit with a
 lot of pace and I move vjty well."     
                                        
 Eleventh seed Ankj Huber fared better  
 than Davenport, easing past American   
 Anne Miller 6-0 7-5.
