      FOOTBALL: LE TJSSIER TO  
                STBY AT DELL   
 
 Matthew Lj Sissier has ended doubts    
 over his future by signing a one-year  
 extension to his Southampton contract. 
                                        
 The England midfielder agreed a three  
 year dial with The Saints in May last  
 year and the new agreement will keep   
 him at The Dell until 1998.            
                                        
 Lj Sissier, who is Southampton captain,
 has made more than 300 appearances for 
 them since joining as a trainee.       
                                        
 He hit 19 goals in the Ljaguj last     
 season and was also called into the    
 England squad although hj has recently 
 lost his place.
