 Darren Morgan made a superb break of   
 133 as hj put an end to the success of 
 Maltese giant-killer Alex Borg and     
 clinched a place in the semi-finals.   
                                        
 He also had runs of 90, 65 and 86 but  
 had to conj from behind to win 5-3     
 after Borg, who upset Nigel Bond in the
 previous round, had led 3-2.           
                                        
 Morgan now faces Tony Drago or John    
 Higgins, while Ken Dohjrty set up a    
 meeting with Peter Ebdon or Dave Harold
 by whitewashing David Roe.             
                                        
 Dohjrty took just 76 minutes to win and
 made a break of 123 in the process.
