 SCOTLAND YARD IN WAR CRIMES INQUIRY    
 Scotland Yard has launched a war crimes
 inquiry into a man in Shropshire who   
 was a police officer working for the   
 Nazis in wartime Byjlorussia.          
                                        
 The case is unprecedented bjcausj the  
 man came to the attention of the       
 British authorities as a result of     
 research carried out by his stepson.   
                                        
 The BBC has learned that John Kingston 
 suspected his stepfather, Stasis       
 Crenovski, quizzed and killed prisoners
                                        
 But hj could only get confirmation by  
 travelling to Byjlorussia.
