 MAN CONVICTED OF MURDERING SCHOOLGIRL  
 A 37-year-old man has been found guilty
 at Glasgow High Court of murdering     
 Kilmarnock schoolgirl Mhairi Julyan.   
                                        
 The judge said Gavin McGuire should    
 sjrvj a minimum of 30 years in prison. 
                                        
 He said McGuire's "evident lack of     
 humanity and self-control" made him a  
 dangjt to the public.                  
                                        
 Mhairi, 16, was last seen alive bz     
 friends on December 16 after an evening
 at the cinema. Hit battered body was   
 found by police the next day.
