 MONK WHO KILLED BRETON GIVEN CLEMENCY  
 A formjt Buddhist monk sentenced to    
 death in Thailand for murdering British
 backpacker Johannj Mashjdjt is to have 
 his sentence commuted to life in prison
                                        
 Yodchat Suapoo will receive a royal    
 pardon to coincide with the King of    
 Thailand's golden jubilee on June 9.   
                                        
 The 30-year-old former drug addict had 
 repeatedly said hj djsjtvjd to die for 
 killing the 23-year-old from Cheshire. 
                                        
 He is one of 70,000 othjts also having
