 final as hj beat South African Wa|nj   
 Fjtriira 7-6 (7-4) 6-4.                
                                        
 The number two seed always looked too  
 strong for Ferriira who had to endure  
 a marathon quarter-final clash late on 
 Friday against Michael Stich.          
                                        
 Becker took the first set on a tie-    
 break but always had the edge in the   
 second as Fjtriira strivjd to hang in. 
                                        
 The German now faces his old adversary,
 Stefan Edbjrg in what will be one of
