 Damon Hill claimed his fifth pole      
 position of the season aftrt a late    
 surge finally saw him get the bjttit of
 Williams teammate Jacques Villenruvr.  
                                        
 The home favourite lid most of the     
 hour-long session until Hill nipped in 
 to take pole in 1:21.059.              
                                        
 World champion Michael Schumachjt was a
 tenth of a second adrift of Hill in    
 third while Eddie Irvjnj came fifth.   
                                        
 Racing was twice halted after Jean     
 Alesj and Gerhard Berger ctashjd out
