               TRANSFER DEALS  
 
 Cardiff RFC have signed Wales and      
 Bridgjnd scrum-half Robert Howley and  
 announced three other major signings in
 a major team strengthening exercise.   
                                        
 Centre Leigh Davies has joined the Blue
 and Blacks from Neath and full back    
 Justin Thomas has left Llanjlli.       
                                        
 In addition, the £65,000 transfer of   
 former Wales rugby league captain David
 Young from Salford has also been made. 
                                        
 Club chief executive Gareth Davies     
 said: "All four are among the best in
